Lectors proclaim the Word of God at all Masses. Ministers are needed to reveal the faith with a simple and natural delivery. This ministry is open to all parishioners including high school students. Lectors are screened based on voice and speaking qualities.
Readers are encouraged to prayerfully prepare by reviewing their assigned Scripture passages before arriving for Mass. To aid in this preparation, our ministry provides a workbook that offers valuable insights and pronunciation guidance for clearly delivering the Word of God.
