St. Mark’s CYO youth group is open to all high school teenagers and meet on Sunday evenings from 7:30-9:00 p.m. during the school year. Some of the service activities we engage in include:
- working at an Asbury Park soup kitchen
- visiting a local nursing home
- assist at the annual Champion for Life dinner,
- server at the St. Patrick’s Day party
- present the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday
- run the parish Easter Egg hunts
CYO is an opportunity to bond with other teens and participate in lots of social events:
- Girls and Guys’ Nights
- Bowling and Miniature Golf
- annual barbecue
- Senior Supper
- Thanksgiving and Christmas parties
- Game Board Night
- Leadership Night
- Comedy Night
- special guest speakers
Our primary goal in CYO is to make all our teens feel welcome in our church and to help them realize their special role in knowing, loving, and serving God and others through our faith community.
