The Church views marriage as a sacred vocation and encourages couples to celebrate this sacrament within their own faith community. At St. Mark's, weddings are typically reserved for registered parishioners and their children. Either the bride or groom must be a registered parishioner of St. Mark's church, or their parents must be registered.
Couples must notify the pastor at least one year in advance of their desired wedding date. This advance notice allows adequate time for preparation, including marriage preparation programs and liturgical planning.
