Reminder:
St.
Mark's Parish Council meets in the Rectory on the last Tuesday
of each month, except for December. Meetings are held from
7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Rectory.
Meetings are open only to Parish Council members unless
otherwise announced.
Role
of the Parish Council:
The
Parish Council at St. Mark’s serves as an advisory body to
our Parish and assists Monsignor Carton, Pastor, by discussing
issues of general concern, by providing parishioner feedback, by
offering comments and suggestions, by helping to schedule
social events at the parish, by coordinating with ministries
in the church and by assisting the Pastor, as he
requests. Parish Council members are not involved in the
day-to-day running of the Church, such as personnel or
finance. If
you wish to provide feedback to our Parish Council, feel free
to talk to any of the Council Members listed below.

Mission
Statement:
The
Parish Council of St. Mark’s Church is conceived as a
community of believers in faith and service whose primary
pastoral mission is to help the Pastor, to lead, to inspire
and to guide our parish community in order to maximize our
spiritual formation in the teachings of Our Lord and Saviour,
Jesus Christ.
GOALS:
It
is the goal of the Council to provide and implement a plan of
action through new and innovative ways that will promote
welcoming, faith formation, spiritual nourishment and a sense
of community to all who pass through our doors or come in
contact with our community of believers.
